Arno Kramer (Winterswijk, 1945) is tekenaar, curator en dichter. Hij tekent abstracte en figuratieve elementen. Fijnzinnigheid, mystificatie en de melancholieke sfeer zijn typerend voor zijn werk. Onderwerpen keren telkens terug: behalve het vrouwelijk lichaam en het portret, zijn dat hazen, reeën, wolven of zwanen. Arno Kramer zoekt altijd naar een zekere weerstand in zijn werk.

Arno Kramer is a keen promotor for the practice and appreciation of the art of drawing as an independent and fully-fledged medium. He has put together various exhibitions of drawings and it was on his initiative that the Diepenheim Drawing Centre was founded.
